Tom Tiffany will protect our farmland, defend Wisconsin communities, and oppose these projects.
This is the consequence of years of misguided energy policy.
Instead of prioritizing dependable baseload power produced here in Wisconsin, we have become increasingly reliant on intermittent generation and importing electricity from other states.
The result is growing pressure for massive new transmission lines to crisscross Wisconsin and more farmland to be converted for energy projects.
We should invest in reliable baseload power, including nuclear energy, protect productive farmland from industrial-scale development, and make Wisconsin more energy independent.
Wisconsin should have an energy system that protects our farmland and delivers affordable, reliable power, not one that consumes more land while families pay higher and higher utility bills.
As governor, we will protect our farmland from industrial-scale wind, solar, data centers, and massive 765-kV transmission lines.
That means more industrial-scale projects, more transmission infrastructure, and more pressure on Wisconsin farmland.
David Crowley will destroy our landscape in Wisconsin.
Vote Tom Tiffany on November 3.
